General Chiropractic FAQs
I am on a treatment plan that the doctor recommended. What if I start feeling better and want to reduce the number of visits?
Your doctor will determine if and when your original plan may need to be modified based on your progress. It’s important to remember that after you start feeling better, the real work of modifying your behavior can begin. Completing your care plan is vital to keeping you injury free in the future!
I notice that you have massage therapy services. How do I schedule an appointment?
Our massage therapist, Beth Ludwig, sees patients in our Madison clinic on Wednesdays and Fridays, and in our Huntsville clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Simply speak to our receptionist (by phone or in-person), and she can get you scheduled.
Is Massage covered by insurance?
Unfortunately, massage is not covered by commercial insurance plans in the state of Alabama.
I see you have a gym attached to your clinic. Is that part of a treatment plan? How does it work?
SpineFit was created for our patients, but is open to the public, and is designed for anyone interested in improving strength, flexibility, and balance in a safe and monitored setting. SpineFit offers Small Group Fitness Classes, Nutrition Coaching and Personal Training. More information can be found here: www.visitspinefit.com
Can I refer my child to SpineCare? Are there age constraints?
SpineCare doctors treat children as long as they are old enough to communicate with them! We refer infants to outside providers.
I want to refer my friend/coworker…does SpineCare accept all insurances?
We are in network with all plans EXCEPT Medicaid. Tricare does not cover Chiropractic Services.
